Amy Anderson has been a professional dancer in Denver, Colorado, for over 25 years. She has performed with Pacific Northwest Ballet, as a soloist with Colorado Ballet, a principal dancer with David Taylor Dance Theatre, Colorado Repertory Dance Company, and the Jan Justis Dance Company. Amy retired from David Taylor Dance Theatre in 1998 after 15 years and is currently a free lance dancer/choreographer. She also teaches and performs Argentine Tango and continues to dance professionally with Parasol Arts. Summer of 2018, Amy created her own project, a Walking Tour Production “Shoes” with much acclaim. Amy Began her studies in 1990 as a Pilates Instructor with an emphasis on dance medicine and rehabilitation. She started her private practice, Engage Movement Arts in 2008 which she continues today as well as working on the medical team at Colorado Ballet.
