Happy Hour Milonga

Join us this Sunday October 1st, from 7 – 10PM for a Happy Hour Milonga at The Molecule Effect. There will be a $5 entrance fee and $5 wine specials with snacks, and of course, social Argentine Tango dancing. Alternate beverages and food will be available for purchase. You do not have to dance tango to come and enjoy the wine, music and observe social dancing in a warm and intimate setting.Proceeds from the evening will go towards Parasol Arts’ production of “Carmen” which will take place on June 1st, 2nd and 3rd, 2018 at Colorado Ballet’s Black Box Theatre. If you would like to make a charitable tax deductible donation to Parasol Arts and help us reach the necessary budget for such a production, you can donate online on our web page or by check to our mailing address.

International Dance Festival

Parasol Arts will perform this Saturday June 17th at 5:30pm In the International Dance Festival on Pearl Street Mall, Boulder. Among the performers will be Cynthia Gottlob and Sean Ericson, the 2017 USA champions of Stage Tango who will compete in the World Championship in Buenos Aries in August! This a free event with many different dance forms being performed as well as a live band. It’s all happening in Colorado!

Parasol Arts, in conjunction with the Parkinson’s

Association of the Rockies offers a tango class

designed to help those with Parkinson’s disease and other physically challenging conditions.

Deborah Iole, an avid tango dancer who believes that everyone can benefit from the joy and passion of Argentine Tango, developed the program based on research that has been done on the therapeutic benefits of tango particularly for Parkinson’s Disease.

She teaches the class in a fun and friendly environment. Deborah holds a Masters degree in Dance/Movement Therapy from Naropa University and a Bachelors degree in education and is a certified Pilates Instructor since 1992.

A Parasol Arts Fundraiser hosted by The Molecule Effect, this evening includes Wine Tasting from local vendors, delicious hors d’ouevres, Art Work from local tango artists on display and for purchase, music, and an Argentine Tango demonstration. Proceeds from this event are considered to be charitable donations and are tax deductible, and will go towards the cost of Parasol Arts’ next performances of “Piazzolla, en Sus Palabras” on April 21 and 22 at Colorado Ballet Black Box Theatre. Thank you for your support of Colorado’s only Argentine Tango dance company!
